> Troop 277 is all about the Advancement and Recognition of each and every Scout with a clear focus on keeping their interest levels high by emphasizing FUN! You give us your little boy and we give you back a young man with strong values and strong leadership skills who has lifelong memories of having fun in Scouts (most of the time).

> Troop 277 is a functional “Boy Led Troop”!

> Troop 277 has a deep, well trained adult leadership bench.

> Troop 277 has weekly Troop meetings on Monday nights at 7:00PM @ Christ Church. We also plan, well in advance, a monthly camp-out during the School year and a week long Summer Camp each summer.

> Troop 277 has awarded 7 Eagle ranks in the past 4 years, we had an Eagle Court of Honor on 1/03/09 for 6 more Troop 277 Eagles, and we currently have 14 Life Scouts working on their Eagle rank. I guess it’s no wonder why Troop 277 has been referred to by the North Florida Council BSA office as “an Eagle generating machine”.
